Yes we were in other groups. Tolis, the guitar player, played in the early 90's in a thrash metal band called Epidemic. He played also with me in the mid-90's on a project called 'Superdoz'. I also used to play in a band called 'The Ripper' from 84 to 88. Andreas, the bass player, used to play in numerous bands. Now he is playing for another band too, called Rotting Christ.

Οι Heresi είναι η νέα μπάντα του Skamfer, που την έφτιαξε όταν την πούλεψε από Ondskapt. Έχουν ένα EP (Psalm I) και το "Psalm 2" album. Ωραίοι είναι, της γνωστής παρέας εκεί πάνω, βαράνε και λίγο orthodoxίλα, μου αρέσουνε και θα μπορούσα να ζήσω πανεύκολα χωρίς να τους έχω ακούσει ποτέ. Α! Υπέγραψαν και στην Hydrahead. Γκουχ.
Οι General Surgery είναι θεοί είναι θεοί είναι θεοί είναι θεοί είναι θεοί. Κατεβάστε το, πρόκεται για το πρώτο album τους, ενώ υπάρχουν από το '89. Με μερικές θεϊκές κασσέτες και μερικά θεϊκά εφτάρια να έχουν μεσολαβήσει.

Ελπίζω να μην θες άλλο track γιατί εγώ έχω την επανέκδοση που είχε κάτι extra.
Αυτό είναι λίγο έως αρκετά δύσκολο ν'ανέβει ολόκληρο και σε ικανοποιητική ανάλυση imo καθώς 7,5GB είναι μόνο το πρώτο DVD !
Αν θέλει πάντως κάποιος ν'ανεβάσω 1-2 tracks αύριο-μεθαύριο για να πάρει μια γεύση γίνεται...

David and his wife Diane Arkenstone have teamed up to create Earth Trybe, released under their own successful label, Neo Pacifica, that mostly consists of new age music (some of the best, in fact). These two artists are capable of creating magic and, I dare say, Diane Arkenstone is a superb musician herself. There's a lighthearted nature to many of the songs, especially on River Of Life and Celebration with all that whimsical faery flute playing. Others are a bit darker in tone but, nonetheless, worth the try.
There are many different instruments heard here - ones you'd expect to find on a world album - but they seem to heavily rely on percussion this time around, hence, I think, the tag "rhyhm" in the title. The formula Earth Trybe follows is nothing new really but it somehow sounds fresh and rejuvenating. It does not depend on the use of heavy dance beats, although there are some native drum loops to enhance the flow of the chant-like tribal singing and hypnotic ambient rhythms.
If you like the mellow songs found on Buddha Bar's lifestyle compilations you ought to give this work a try.

High in the Andes, in the remote reaches of the altiplano, or high plains, is a region that the Spanish never conquered. There, the language of the Incas is still spoken and sung, and the sounds of pre-Columbian music still echo. The haunting whistle of the pan-pipes, the ancient flutes, and the drums are all featured on Inkuyo's The Double-Headed Serpent.
This recording, like Inkuyo's previous work, includes a number of traditional Andean folk songs and dances - some old enough to date back to the Incan Empire. The group also performs the recent Latin American phenomenon known as Nueva Cancion, or New Song, that contains social or sharply political lyrics, and combines traditional and European instruments.
Both styles can express different moods, from festive to melancholic. The centuries of Spanish oppression of the native culture are expressed in the flutes of the Incas which speak of the cold, timeless winds of the altiplano and the hardy people who have lived there. South American history also becomes the rallying cry for some of the alternately jubilant or dramatic songs of the Nueva Cancion.
The instruments on The Double-Headed Serpent vary widely, from instruments found only in certain parts of the Andes to more familiar instruments like the charango, a mandolin made out of an armadillo shell, or the sikus, a pan-pipe which is always played by two musicians, so that the melodies are pieced together like a jigsaw puzzle. Of course, there is also the bewildering array of wooden and bone flutes that characterize Andean music.

συνήθως ναι γιατί κάποιο part κατέβηκε corrupted και αν δε ξέρεις ποιο κτλ και αν δε το βρείς μονο του θες από την αρχή

επισης πεταξτε winrar, winzip κτλ κ κατεβαστε το 7zip να τελειωνετε με τετοιες αηδιες.
οταν ενα παρτ ειναι corrupted το λεει. οταν για ενα παρτ λεει wrong password τοτε τα winrar, winzip κτλ απλα μαλακιζονται
για δωσε ινφο,ειχα την εντυπωση πως το γουινραρ ηταν κορυφη

ειναι ακριβως αυτο που ειπα προηγουμενως. οτι πολλες φορες σου λεει wrong password σε ενα παρτ απο μαλακια του winrar. αυτο δε γινεται κιολας. οταν κοβεις ενα αρχειο σε μερη εχουν ολα το ιδιο pass.
γι αυτο 7zip κ καθαρισες

This California quartet's debut album "Psalms, Hymns & Spiritual Songs" is the work of a group with an excellent record collection. Listening to these twelve songs (five of which appeared previously on an EP - which for some reason was recorded better than this album) you can tell that their Verve, Spacemen 3, Dandy Warhols, Warlocks, Velvet Underground, BJM and Spiritualized cd's are never more than an arm's length away. On album opener "Let It All Go" the group relies too heavily on those influences without adding any of their own individual style into the mix (it's pretty much an approximation of Richard Ashcroft fronting BJM, covering Spacemen 3) but for the most part, the Davidians put out top notch psych-rock that thankfully never lets sonic flights of fancy take priority over tight songwriting and powerful vocals (courtesy of Dwayne Seagraves). They may be wearing their influences on their sleeves, but they wear them quite well. Fans of reverb pedals and laid-back trippy psychedelia will definitely want to check these guys (and girl) out.

Σαν τέτοιος και εγώ, συμφωνώ με κάρχαρτ. Δλδ μέχρι και το κρούελτη γαμούσαν, ειδικά το ντασκ, πω. Ε μετά γκρούβη μαλακιούλες με χιτάκια, καπάκια το νταμνέησον το οποίο μπορεί μουσικά να μη σπέρνει, αλλά σαν σύνολο μουσική, στίχοι, κόνσεπτ κτλ κτλ κτλ είναι τέλειο. Απλά δεν είναι από τα άλμπουμ που θα ακούς κομμάτια από μέσα, ακούγεται μόνο ολόκληρο ίμο.

Κάπου εδώ έρχομαι να πω ότι το Cruelty είναι τέλειο, to Queen of winter throned το καλύτερο κομμάτι τους, το μίντιαν ωραίο και από κει και μετά πάτος πάτος πάτος. Δε σας ενδιαφέρει αλλά ήθελα κάπου να τα πω ως παλιός φανμπόης.

σχεδόν πάντα όταν θα βγει κάτι που περιμένει πολύς κόσμος θα είσαι ο πρώτος που θα το κράξει. Και γενικότερα βγάζεις τα πιο γρήγορα συμπεράσματα...
ενδεικτικό είναι πως μετά από λίγο καιρό αλλάζεις τα ακούσματά σου. Και συνήθως σπεύδεις να κράξεις αυτό που άκουγες πριν...

δεν ήταν λόγω του συγκεκριμένου κομματιού και δεν είχα και καμια πρόθεση να "του την πω". Μια διαπίστωση ήταν.
Το point ήταν ότι γενικότερα βγάζει λίγο "βιαστικά" συμπεράσματα και εν τέλει δε νομίζω γενικότερα με βάση αυτά που ακούει, αυτή την περίοδο τουλάχιστον, να του άρεσε κομμάτι των pos ή παρεμφερών progressive σχημάτων.
η διαπίστωση σου είναι λάθος και ειλικρινά βαριέμαι να το αναλύσω τωρα
και δε θα ήθελα να να κάνω ένα post του στυλ "δίνω εξηγήσεις"
αν θες τα λέμε msn κάποια στιγμή(δες τα pm σου επί της ευκαιρίας)

This California quartet's debut album "Psalms, Hymns & Spiritual Songs" is the work of a group with an excellent record collection. Listening to these twelve songs (five of which appeared previously on an EP - which for some reason was recorded better than this album) you can tell that their Verve, Spacemen 3, Dandy Warhols, Warlocks, Velvet Underground, BJM and Spiritualized cd's are never more than an arm's length away. On album opener "Let It All Go" the group relies too heavily on those influences without adding any of their own individual style into the mix (it's pretty much an approximation of Richard Ashcroft fronting BJM, covering Spacemen 3) but for the most part, the Davidians put out top notch psych-rock that thankfully never lets sonic flights of fancy take priority over tight songwriting and powerful vocals (courtesy of Dwayne Seagraves). They may be wearing their influences on their sleeves, but they wear them quite well. Fans of reverb pedals and laid-back trippy psychedelia will definitely want to check these guys (and girl) out.

Από την περιγραφή μπορεί να νομίζεις ότι έχει σκληρό και επιθετικό ήχο. Επικεντρώσου καλύτερα στο "sinister minimalistic noise" και "electronic nightmare of sonic atrocities". Αρκετά εφιαλτική ατμόσφαιρα, μπορώ να πω, και ναι, ενδιαφέρον!
Για την ακρίβια αυτά που τόνισες με τράβηξαν :D

Pieces of Winter by John Hudak & Stephan Mathieu
A small album for sure. simple and clean, spacious mixes with generous silence in between tracks. obviously a winter album, but the title holds some influence there. some tracks are so digital, but the source recordings radiate an easy warmth. both these artists tend towards a straightforward, unadorned approach to digital processing, which is certainly in evidence here.
The album begins with Hudak's contact-mic-under-ice-whilst-it-snows field recording, continues through collaborative tracks, and ends with Mathieu's warm composition of manipulated pump organ and ocarina. The collaborative tracks are very digital and spare, maybe "cold" but that is pushing the metaphor real hard, yeah?

duul_drv - Fade With Consequence
an excellent entry into the quiet digital composition/field recording genre. another favorite of mine that I had thought I had lost. then I recommened it to a friend a realized I had to find it. found it!
hushed, clean and maybe melodic. crisp field recordings, hovering bass tones and little bits of DSP finding the space in your head where they need to be.
not only is this OOP, but duul_drv (pronounce it! dare!) does not seem to be producing much music these days. put out another album dude!

μεχρι στιγμης το μόνο λινκ που βρηκα σε διαφορα φορα για spiritualized ήταν αυτο-το οποιο ειναι δυστυχως και το μονο CD τους που βρισκεται σπιτι μου. This California quartet's debut album "Psalms, Hymns & Spiritual Songs" is the work of a group with an excellent record collection. Listening to these twelve songs (five of which appeared previously on an EP - which for some reason was recorded better than this album) you can tell that their Verve, Spacemen 3, Dandy Warhols, Warlocks, Velvet Underground, BJM and Spiritualized cd's are never more than an arm's length away. On album opener "Let It All Go" the group relies too heavily on those influences without adding any of their own individual style into the mix (it's pretty much an approximation of Richard Ashcroft fronting BJM, covering Spacemen 3) but for the most part, the Davidians put out top notch psych-rock that thankfully never lets sonic flights of fancy take priority over tight songwriting and powerful vocals (courtesy of Dwayne Seagraves). They may be wearing their influences on their sleeves, but they wear them quite well. Fans of reverb pedals and laid-back trippy psychedelia will definitely want to check these guys (and girl) out.

Δεν ξέρω ακριβώς αυτή τη στιγμή καθώς δεν το'χω rippάρει ακόμη ολόκληρο.
Λογικά θα βγει λιγότερο από 2GB μ'αυτή την ανάλυση.
Γι'αυτό, όπως είπα και στο προηγούμενο post, τσέκαρε το Arriving (και όποιος άλλος το κατεβάσει) και πες αν είναι ικανοποιητική η ανάλυση για ν'ανεβάσω και το υπόλοιπο με την ίδια.
