Λοιπόν, ενάντια στο κλίμα της επαρχιώτης πολυβινυλοχλωριδιακής φασιστοκιτσαρίας όπου θέλοντας και μη μας παγιδεύουν οι γιορτές, θα ήθελα να κάνω μία ΠΑΡΕΜΒΑΣΑΡΑ για να αποδομήσω το γκεστάλτ της κακογουστιάς, του πάνου κιάμου, της δέσποινας βανδή, του νίνο, του χρήστου χολίδη και του γιώργου γιαννιά

θα ήθελα λοιπόν να αντιπαραβάλλω μια τέχνη αληθινά λαϊκή, που αγγίζει οριακές καταστάσεις συναισθηματικές, βιωματικές, περιθωριακές πολλές φορές. Για το σκυλάδικο με τηγκαντίνα που σερβίρει τα σουβλάκια μέσα στο μαγαζί σε φορτηγατζήδες με φόρμα και φανελάκι

ναι και μενα μαρεσε ιδιως γιατι το ειδος εχει πραμα και δεν εχω ασχοληθει ιδιαιτερα , οποτε μου κανε μια καλη εισαγωγη σε καποια ενδιαφεροντα γκρουπακια

Ήταν μια περίεργη μουσικά χρονιά το 2012 για μένα. Λίγο από νοσταλγία, λίγο λόγω περιορισμένου ελεύθερου χρόνου που δεν μου επιτρέπει την παρακολούθηση των νέων κυκλοφοριών, στράφηκα ξανά σε μουσικές που γνώρισα και αγάπησα στα εφηβικά μου χρόνια. Κλειδώθηκα σε ένα χρονοντούλαπο και περίπου ένα χρόνο μετά ήρθα εδώ, σήμερα, να ανεβάσω μια συλλογή που αλλιώς την σκεφτόμουν και αλλιώς κατέληξε. Η αρχική σκέψη ήταν να αποτελείται αποκλειστικά από καλιφορνέζικο skate punk όπως αυτό δημιουργήθηκε και γιγαντώθηκε στο Los Angeles, San Francisco, San Diego, Reno, Nevada, Sacramento και να εστιάσει χρονικά κυρίως στην περίοδο 1985-1992. Μια τέτοια αρχική λίστα λοιπόν, έγινε, έζησε για περίπου 20 λεπτά και μετά κάτι πήγε στραβά μέσα μου και έπρεπε να φτιαχτεί μια καινούρια λίστα. Μια καινούρια λίστα που δεν θα παρουσιάζει καμία συγκεκριμένη σκηνή (αν και η πλειοψηφία της αποτελείται από skate punk rock), που απότερο και μοναδικό στόχο και σκοπό θα έχει να παρουσιάσει σε κάποιο βαθμό, όσο είναι αυτό εφικτό, την μουσική μου πραγματικότητα για το 2012. Kudos στον Ghoul του οποίου η πυρηνική συλλογή με ώθησε στο να φτιάξω και εγώ μια δική μου, όπως επίσης kudos και στον άλεξ που μου έδειξε οτι υπάρχει punk rock και πέρα από τους bad religion και τους offspring.
