Bynum sued his neighbors back
Andrew Bynum is involved in a lawsuit with his former California neighbors that features plenty of mudslinging from both sides, TMZ reports. According to Thirty Mile Zone, the current Philadelphia 76ers center filed a lawsuit in L.A. Superior Court accusing his former neighbors, the Becketts, of being violent and racist. His lawsuit reportedly claims the Becketts have objected to his “profession, his race, his friends, his cars and his taste in music.” Bynum accuses them of throwing coins at his car, screaming at him about his music, and even banging a stick at the side of his house. The Becketts, who lived next door to Bynum in Westchester, Calif., believe that Bynum only filed the suit as a preemptive strike once he learned they were planning a lawsuit. They fired back with a countersuit, in which they allege the following misdeeds by Bynum: - brandishing firearms in an attempt to intimidate the Becketts
- “apparently” using drugs and allowing weed smoke to drift next door
- blasting loud, profane rap music (including the song “Currency” by Trina)
- blasting his video games at “window-shaking volumes”
- letting his dogs run loose through the neighborhood
- constantly racing his luxury cars at dangerous speeds

You don’t have to read between any lines to figure out that Kobe is calling Gasol out in the best/worst way (depending on your perspective). Demanding that Gasol man up and take responsibility for his own game and his own transition from Phil Jackson‘s system to Mike Brown‘s system and now, Mike D’Antoni‘s system, is exactly what you’d expect from a team leader.
This isn’t the first time someone has felt the need to light a fire under Gasol. Jackson had to do the same on several occasions when he coached the Spaniard, famously poking him in the chest during Game 3 of that playoff series they lost to the Dallas Mavericks in 2011 in an effort to challenge Gasol’s toughness in a critical situation.

Φοβερή βελτίωση στους δυο ήδη καλούς Griffin/Jordan τώρα όμως μιλάμε πλέον για ένα από τα καλύτερα combos. Bledsoe & Barnes σταθερά καλοί όπως και ο Crawford από τον πάγκο. Τους βλέπω βαθιά στα playoffs...

Νομίζω είναι μέχρι στιγμής αήττητοι? Carmelo επιτέλους του πάνε τα πράγματα όπως πρέπει, Felton σαν να μην έλειψε μια μέρα και JR Smith σε ηγετικό ρόλο του δεύτερου unit (κάτι σαν να έκανε μεταμόσχευση εγκεφάλου φέτος). Amare επιστρέφει σύντομα και ακούγεται ότι δε θα είναι πλέον starter.

Τους είχα στο μυαλό μου σαν up and coming ομάδα αλλά όχι τόσο καλούς... Ο Gasol μας δείχνει πως ο κόσμος πρέπει να αρχίσει να μιλάει για τον Marc (τον αδερφό του μετά από μια συγκλονιστική απόδοση στους ολυμπιακούς δεν τον είχα σε καμία περίπτωση τόσο τελειωμένο...), Randolph ασταμάτητος και Rudy Gay στην ανηφόρα για All Star Game.

Η προσθήκη Iguodala δεν βοήθησε πολύ την άμυνα τους, ο Ty Lawson μετά το καινούργιο συμβόλαιο του φαίνεται πως ταξιδεύει πνευματικά στον Άρη. Ήθελα πολύ να τα πάει καλά μια τόσο νεανική ομάδα με τρομερά παιχτάκια Faried/Koufos/Gallinari/McGee...
