Τα παραπάνω είναι μερικά από τ'αγαπημένα μου κομμάτια το τελευταίο διάστημα, οπότε ας πω δυο λογάκια για το καθένα.

1. Όσοι ακούσατε το τελευταίο Sun Kil Moon θα έχετε καταλάβει ότι έχει μερικές από τις καλύτερες συνθέσεις του Kozelek. "Το Lost Verses" είναι μια απ'αυτές και σε κάποιον που αρέσουν οι Red House Painters (κυρίως από το "Ocean Beach" και μετά) θα θυμίσει πολλά.
2. Ένα συγγενικό του παραπάνω είναι το "Painbirds" κυρίως λόγω της slowcore ταμπέλας. Κλασσικό κομμάτι από κλασσικό δίσκο, με το σαξόφωνο στο τέλος να είναι όλα τα λεφτά.
3. Για το "Recent Bedroom" τα είχα γράψει και στο review για το Atlas Sound. Φοβερός ήχος, αν είστε του shoegaze/dream pop ειδικά, είναι βέβαιο ότι θα γουστάρετε.
4. Τους Devotchka μπορεί να τους ξέρετε αρκετοί από τη μουσική για τό "Little Miss Sunshine". Ο τελευταίος τους δίσκος δε μου είπε πολλά, αλλά το κομμάτι που υπάρχει εδώ είναι εξαιρετικό.
5. Ίσως το αγαπημένο μου κομμάτι αυτή την εποχή είναι το "Back To This". Φανταστικές μελωδίες, φανταστικοί στίχοι, οι κιθάρες του θυμίζουν shoegaze (Cocteau Twins είπε κάποιος) και είναι βέβαιο ότι θ'ακούγεται ακόμη πιο ευχάριστα το καλοκαίρι. Ακούστε το.
6. Οι {{{Sunset}}} είναι άλλη μια απόδειξη του ότι οι Αμερικάνοι έχουν αρχίσει και ακούνε πολύ kraut τα τελευταία χρόνια. Ο τίτλος τα λέει όλα, φόρος τιμής στο 1/2 των Cluster.
7. Οι Tape με είχαν εντυπωσιάσει με το "Rideau" 2 χρόνια πριν, το ίδιο καταφέρνουν σιγά-σιγά με το "Luminarium" και την Talk Talk (των 2 τελευταίων δίσκων πάντα) στροφή που πήραν.
8. Το "Unite" είναι ίσως το κομμάτι που θα πρότεινα ν'ακούσει κάποιος που δεν ξέρει τι εστί Burial, μάλλον γιατί είναι το μοναδικό που έχω ακούσει έξω από τους 2 δίσκους του. Τα ίδια που ισχύουν και για το "Untrue" κυρίως, κολλητικότατο.
9. Καλό το "Mother & Child" του 1987, αλλά αυτή είναι μια πιο σύγχρονη έκδοση με Sakamoto στο πιάνο και Nils Petter Molv

Αφού ευχαριστήσω για μερικές πολύ καλές συλλογές που υπάρχουν εδώ, να δώσω κι εγώ μια δικιά μου. Σχεδόν όλα γνωστά, αλλά η έμφαση δίδεται στην ατμόσφαιρα και στις μεταπτώσεις.
