169 χρόνια πριν τα γεγονότα του Game of Thrones, ξέσπασε ο "εμφύλιος" των Targaryen - Dance of Dragons. Το The Princess and the Queen περιγράφει τον πόλεμο, το οποίο θαρρώ πως θα συνδεέται με αρκετούς τρόπους στο A Song of Ice and Fire (aka Game of Thrones)

Δεν γράφτηκε κανένα σχόλιο για αυτό. Μόνο την ιστορία του Μάρτιν έχω διαβάσει, αν είναι του Μάρτιν, και είναι μια μαλακία και μισή.

Και εξηγώ....Ο κανονικός τίτλος της ιστορίας είναι “The Princess and The Queen, Or, The Blacks and The Greens: Being a History of the Causes, Origins, Battles, and Betrayals of the Most Tragic Bloodletting Known As the Dance of the Dragons, as set down by Archmaester Gyldayn of the Citadel of Oldtown ((here transcribed by George R. Αφήνουμε τους Bal Sagoth στην άκρη και η ιστορία βρωμάει πως την έγραψε κάποιος άλλος για τον Martin και πετάξανε το όνομα πάνω για να πουλήσουμε. Πολύ κακογραμμένο και πρόχειρο μου φαίνεται. Και όχι, δε θεωρώ τον Martin τόσο διάνοια που όντως μπήκε στο πετσί του Archmaester οπότε δικαιολογείται ο τρόπος γραφής. Ίσα ίσα που είναι μια καλή κάλυψη για αυτόν που όντως έγραψε την ιστορία γιατί σιγά να μην είχε χρόνο ο χοντρός.

The season that's about to debut covers the second half of the third book. The third book [A Storm of Swords] was so long that it had to be split into two. But there are two more books beyond that, A Feast for Crows and A Dance with Dragons. A Dance with Dragons is itself a book that's as big as A Storm of Swords. So there's potentially three more seasons there, between Feast and Dance, if they split into two the way they did [with Storms]. Now, Feast and Dance take place simultaneously. So you can't do Feast and then Dance the way I did. You can combine them and do it chronologically. And it's my hope that they'll do it that way and then, long before they catch up with me, I'll have published The Winds of Winter, which'll give me another couple years. It might be tight on the last book, A Dream of Spring, as they juggernaut forward.

'Game of Thrones' to only last around seven or eight seasons.

Βασικά θεωρώ απίστευτα απίθανο οι Ηνωμενοπολιτιακιδες να μην εχουν βγαλει ηδη ενα πλαν για το συνολο της φασης και να μην εχουν ηδη φτιαξει το χρονοδιαγραμμα και γι αυτο πιστευω οτι και ο μαρτιν σε συνεργασία με την μανατζερ του, εκδοτρια κλπ εχουν σκοπό να αρμέξουν την γελάδα όσο πάει. και αυτο κάνουν μεθοδικότατα. επομενως ακουω βερεσε τα 7 ή 8 σεζον ειδικά όσο πουλάει σαν τρελλο.
