High Pilot, μη φοβάσαι το metal. Σε όλη αυτήν τη revival/retro σκηνή ζήτημα να υπάρχει μισό κομμάτι της αξίας ενός SorcerERs (Angelwitch) και ενός Forded in Fire (Anvil). Αγαπάμε τα περίεργα καπέλα, τα μωβ φώτα και όλα τα συναφή, αλλά πάνω απ' όλα αγαπάμε την καλή μουσική. Δέξου ΚΑΙ το ΑΤΣΑΛΙ, πέρα από το 70's image.

χα χα γιατι ρε επειδη εβαλα Rituals of the oak?? να αυτο εννοω με τον διαχωρισμο απο το doom. ο ηχος της μπαντας αυτης ειναι πιο κοντα στους Blood ceremony (και αρα στους Black sabbath) παρα στους Witchsorrow και Reverend bizarre. οι δυο τελευταιοι ειναι DOOM. αυτο ομως ανηκει σε αυτο το θρεντ :

ok δεν ξέρω τι προοπτικές έχει πλέον το θρεντ, ο high pilot τα'χει κάπως στο μυαλό του, εγώ κάπως αλλιώς, ο Ρα κάπως αλλιώς κλπ, ας το κάνουμε doom thread να τελειώνουμε. Οι Orchid είναι πρωτίστως μια black sabbath tribute μπάντα (με την ίδια λογική που υπήρξαν στο παρελθόν οι Warhammer και oi Usurper για τους C.Frost ασπούμε), δεν καταλαβαίνω τι προσφέρουν στο θρεντ, αν είναι να βάλουμε και sHeavy ξερωγώ, κι αυτοί το ίδιο κάνουν.
Τεσπά σε μια προσπάθεια να μείνουμε οντόπικ (?), για νέες occult rock κυκλοφορίες γενικά ισχύει το ρητό home is where the hype is, το φετινό άλμπουμ των Uncle Acid and the Deadbeats ήδη βαράει κάτι εξηντάρια στο ημπέη, άμα κάνω κόρη θα της αφήσω την κόπια μου για προίκα, πάντως ο δίσκος μουσικά είναι μια ομορφιά τα'χουμε ξαναπεί και στο stoner θρεντ.
αν και φυσικά, η κυκλοφορία της χρονιάς στο χώρο είναι το φανταστικό τελευταίο άλμπουμ των Blood Ceremony
Ενώ μέσα στη χρονιά θα σκάσει μύτη καινούριο Devil's Blood. Ok ξέρω haters gonna hate κλπ, δεν είναι εκεί το ζήτημα.
Αυτά από μένα, άμα ξεμπλέξει λίγο το θρεντ εδώ θα'μαστε, αλλιώς καλή επιτυχία.

Ας μην τα βάζουμε όλα στο οφτόπι, αυτό εδώ είναι το σωστότερο θρεντ.
Νέο άσμα Uncle Acid and the Dead Beats
Ας βγάλει κάποιος αυτά τα χαζά από τον τίτλο του θρεντ και ας το πούμε σκέτο "occult rock", αφού αυτός ο όρος καθιερώθηκε πια.
αλλού έχει πάει το θέμα αλλά
μιας κ αναφέρθηκε η μπάντα κ ο ο συκγεκριμένος δίσκοτας δεν είναι -δυστυχώς- γνωστός σε πολύ κοΖμο που θα πρεπε να ασχοληθεί,

In most other respects, they were a more or less typical psychedelic act. Carolyn Lee's vocals sometimes bring to mind the United States of America or (more distantly) Jefferson Airplane; some of the tunes have a nice gothic/classical touch, and the lyrics are excessively cosmic (principal songwriter and organist Casey Cosby is the chief culprit). Their self-titled album is highly valued by some psychedelic collectors.
The Music Emporium formed in 1968 as the Cage, led by UCLA music major Cosby, and including a couple of music students from Long Beach State. They changed their name to The Music Emporium when they recorded their album, which was originally intended as a demo tape. However, the small Sentinel label put out the tape as an official LP release, in a die-cut album sleeve. Only 300 copies were pressed, and re-releases of the record are much easier to find than originals; the Sundazed CD reissue in 2001 is preferable, as it's taken from the master tape, includes historical liner notes, and adds five bonus tracks (albeit instrumental versions of five songs from the LP). The group broke up in 1970 when Cosby was drafted.
