ένα αρχείο vbr μπορεί να έχει μεγάλο bitrate στα πολύπλοκα μέρη του κομματιού και μικρό στα απλά
ένα αρχείο cbr μπορεί να έχει τζάμπα bitrate στα απλά μέρη και όχι αρκετό στα περίπλοκα
αν έχουν τον ίδιο μέσο όρο bitrate, και το εφαρμοστούν πάνω στο ίδιο κομμάτι, θα παράγουν ισομεγέθη αρχεία
