When Niklas decided to leave Den Saakaldte in order to focus to his main band Shining, we knew that it would be damn difficult to find someone capable and charismatic like Niklas is.

We think we did well in finding that person…

We are proud to announce that the new vocalist of Den Saakaldte, is no other than Mr Øyvind Hægeland, known for his amazing work with Spiral Architect, Arcturus, Scariot..

Øyvind has already started focusing on lyrics and different weird ideas he wants to express with Den Saakaldte’s music.

Vocals for the new album “Kapittel II:Faen I Helvete” are scheduled to be recorded, autumn 2011 and we are all damn excited about it.

Αφού επέλυσαν το θέμα με τη φωνή, ας κοιτάξουν να επιλύσουν κι εκείνο των τυμπάνων, μια και το full της μπάντας έχει τα χειρότερα τύμπανα που έχω ακούσει εδώ και καιρό.

Σε άλλα νέα, είπα σήμερα στο τέλος της μέρας να δώσω μια ευκαιρία στο καινούργιο Blood Ceremony, που κυκλοφόρησε προ ολίγων βδομάδων, και μπορώ να πω -βρισκόμενος περίπου στα μισά του δίσκου- ότι προχωράει με πολύ κέφι και πολύ "άνετη" ροή. Ωραία πράγματα!
