8-song 12" compiling the entire first recording session by the Estranged. Most of these songs appeared on long out of print singles and compilations. You would think that these songs wouldn't fit together well as an album given that they were all intended for different records, but honestly this is one of the most captivating and arresting records I've heard in a while. A lot of bands (especially from Portland) get compared to the Wipers, but the Estranged really nail that dark, haunting punk sound... the guitar sound is a dead ringer for Greg Sage's and the great lead playing is worthy of him as well. A seriously great, great record and I couldn't be happier to have all of these songs in one place. Includes a great-looking heavy "tip-on" style sleeve a la the recent Feral Ward releases.
