Πλάκα, πλάκα, το Workbench ήταν σε μερικά θέματα πολύ μπροστά για την εποχή του, όπως την διαχείριση πολλαπλών οθονών.

Ρωχάμη μάζευες και τις δισκέτες απ'το Amiga Format? Έδιναν κάποια όμορφα demo ή και κανα ολόκληρο παιχνίδι ή πρόγραμμα.

Ον τόπικ, ακόμα βάζω και παίζω από emu North And South, Megalomania, Gods, Banshee, SWIV, Slamtilt και το ψήνω να καώ κάποια στιγμή και να ξαναπαίξω Ishar trilogy και Darkmere.

On other news, έχω μείνει πίσω αισθητά στο θέμα emus. Για πείτε τι παίζει πλέον, γιατί το γαμάτο AiaB δεν υπάρχει πλέον διαβάζω. Δοκίμασα κάτι μαλακίες τύπου Amiga Forever και ήταν απογοήτευση.

ΥΓ: Πρέπει κάποια στιγμή να ξανασυνδέσω την Amiga να δω αν δουλεύει ακόμα. Γιατί ανησυχώ λίγο για το 1084S.

Φυσικά και δεν πουλιέται, μαζί με τους Manowar είναι σημαντικότατο κομμάτι των παιδικών μου χρόνων.

Πάντως το έψαχνα πρόσφατα για καινούρια 1200άρα και μην σου πω με ψιλοέψησε κι όλας. Όχι πως με 1200άρα θα μπορείς πραγματικά να ζήσεις το OS4 βέβαια, εκεί κοιτάς για PPC αναγκαστικά.

ΥΓ: Έχω ακόμα άκρως λειτουργικό joystick PACMAN και δεν καταλαβαίνει χριστό. Ούτε σκουριά ούτε τίποτα. Δεν τα βγάζουν πλέον έτσι.
ΥΥΓ: Βέβαια το ψήνω να το διαλύσω και να το βάλω να δουλεύει με το PC.

Και η δική μου Amiga λειτουργεί <3 δηλώνω ευτυχισμένη. 2 classic joysticks για να παίζουμε και κανα διπλό και να περνάνε οι μέρες στο εξοχικό ευχάριστα.
Το Moonstone το έπαιζε κανείς? Μόνο σε μένα κρασάρει σχεδόν πάντα στο τέλος όταν είναι να πολεμήσω την γυναίκα-ανεμοστρόβιλο?

Ruthless αν σε παντρευτώ θα μου δώσεις τα amiga games? :P

Παρόμοια joysticks είχα, αλλά δε πρέπει να ήταν το ίδιο ακριβώς. Ο μοχλός είναι ίδιος και είχε 2 κουμπιά, πάνω αριστερά και δεξιά.

Άπειρες ώρες καψίματος με Sierra/Lucas Arts adventure games, Ishar III, Heimdall II, Darkmere και δε συμμαζεύεται.

Τεσπα παιδια, επειδη σπαστηκα με καποια σκηνικα, οποιος θελει λινκ για το μπλογκ που θα φιλοξενησει το υλικο, να ριξει ενα ΠΜ. Εδω μεσα δεν το βαζω το υλικο. Οι λογοι ευνοητοι :)

Ο πατέρας μου είχε μια 1200 που την είχα λιώσει. Sensible ΧΡΟΝΙΑ ΟΛΟΚΛΗΡΑ ΧΑΜΕΝΑ, Superfrog (αν και αυτό το τερμάτισα πρώτο έτος στο πισί), Disposable hero, Ruff 'n' Tuff, Mortal Kombat 2, Heimdall, Leander... :touched:

Θυμάμαι τον πατέρα μου να λέει ότι τα γραφικά του Robocop έγιναν με Amiga 4000. Και η Wikipedia το επιβεβαιώνει αν θυμάμαι καλά. Πολύ μπροστά.

Amigas were used in various NASA laboratories to keep track of multiple low orbiting satellites, and were still used up to 2003/04 (dismissed and sold in 2006). This is another example of long lifetime reliability of Amiga hardware, as well as professional use. Scottish pop artist Calvin Harris composed his debut album I Created Disco with an Amiga 1200.[59]
Susumu Hirasawa, a Japanese Electropop-artist is known for using Amigas to compose and perform music.
Electronic musician Max Tundra also created his three albums with an Amiga 500.[60]
A black Commodore Amiga 1200 was seen on an episode of Bones, used as evidence to lead to a murder suspect. A clip of this show hosted on youtube became infamous because of the high number of errors in such a minor mention. Amongst many other errors, an IBM 5150, the first PC was shown as its floppy drive, and it was claimed it used "a homemade operating system" with a "6800 chipset".
Tom Berenger's character Gary Simmons uses an Amiga 500 for his KKK network in the 1988 movie Betrayed.
Amiga 500 motherboards were used, in conjunction with a Laserdisc player and Genlock device, in arcade games manufactured by American Laser Games.[61]
A custom Amiga 4000T motherboard was used in the HDI 1000 medical ultrasound system built by Bothell, Washington based Advanced Technology Labs (now part of Philips Medical Systems).[62]
