We would like to announce that Simen "Vortex" Hestenaes is not a part of Code and will not be taking part in the forthcoming album.
After successfully performing live with Code during the phenomenal shows this last year, the band have resolved to continue working with original vocalist Kvohst.
Those who have come to appreciate and love our rare, avantgarde and unique first album 'Nouveau Gloaming,' will completely understand our need to continue where we left off and keep the integral spirit of the band and our music intact. It is a real pleasure to have the old, true lineup working together again.
Kvohst has already finished writing and recording the vocals on the new album and we have set a date in early October for the final mix with the release coming this winter. All we can tell you for now is that it sounds astoundingly necrospiritual and essentially Code!

το θεμα ειναι οτι δεν εχει να σου μεινει κατι μετα την ακροαση ολων αυτων. ιδιως το Burst ειναι η εννοια του οτινανισμου. Ουτε οι ιδιοι δεν ξερουν τι θελουν να παιξουν απο οτι φαινεται. Προσωπικα ξεχωρισα μερικες στιγμες απο το δισκο, στο συνολο του ομως δεν πηγαινει καπου το ολο πραγμα.Quote:

Αχμ. Άρχισες με τα μετέπειτα - σύγχρονα. Γενικότερα η μουσική της εν λόγω μπάντας εξελίσσεται από δίσκο σε δίσκο με αποτέλεσμα καθένας να είναι κάτι το ξεχωριστό. Γενικοτερα μπορείς να βάλεις μια τομή στην καριέρα τους όταν την δεκαετία του 80 με το ντίσιπλιν οπου αναθεωρήθηκε όλη η φιλοσοφία της μουσικής τους ραγδαία σε ένα είδος που επηρέαζει και αναμασάται μέχρι σήμερα στο σύγχρονο προγκ ροκ (βλέπε tool). Τότε ήρθαν 2 σημαντικότατα μέλη που παρέμειναν (παραδόξως αν σκεφτείς την προηγούμενη περίοδό τους) μέχρι σήμερα. Οι Andrian Belew (zappa) tony levin (peter gabriel).
Γενικότερα ρίξε μια αυτιά στα "in the court...", lark's tongue...", "in the wake of..." και κατόπιν στα "discipline", "beat" και "the power to believe" με την συγκεκριμένη σειρα. Μετά συνέχισε με τα υπόλοιπα ξεκινόντας από το "red" και "lizard"
Προσωπικα, θεωρώ το "larks tongue..." μαζί με το "selling england..." των genesis τους αγαπημένους μου προγκ δίσκους.
hint: Ο τραγουδιστής στο "red" είναι ο τραγουδιστής των asia, lol.
