Well, yes, after a week or so, I managed to get my butt down and do some proper work. Here we go now, aproject within a project: The four colors of chaos, starring The Black Legion Undivided. It contains all of the gods of chaos, as special troop units, according to the new fluff of the codex. Se with no further ado, the first champion, Slaanesh!!!
I had a squad of Night Lords sitting around for a long time. One of them was built up, so I thought "why not?". So I disected him, tear off the arms and head, and managed to make THIS with a lot of gs and a lot of bitz. I find him a good addition:

The sword arm is the basic chaos sword arm from the heavy weapons sprue. It started as a daemonic blade-something but in the meantime I realized that it was a bit difficult to sculpt on that thing. So I made a warped material on the sword blade, something that reminds of souls and flesh all in one. The face, was made with gs and the cable feed from the combi flamer from the vehicle sprue. The head had horns that have been removed along with all the other stuff. The leg was a bit of pain in the ass, and, in my oppinion is not that successful. The backpack contains the standard combut stimuli that are default among the ranks of the E.C., along with a bit of skin for the rock of it.
In the first place I wanted to make this champion to have four arms, to show the Slaanesh gif of +1 initiative, but in this size the minature would become way too bulky, and it would loose any dynamic pose it could get. So, instead, I decided to use two close combat weapons to make him ready to strike at an opponent. The classic two blade chainsword was located this way to make the mini look like he's about to strike an enemy with a back flip of his arm.
Now, the shoulder pad, was a bit in the butt too. At first I wanted to make it plain and glue a gs mark of slaanesh on it, but it became to plain for this mini. So I ripped it appart and carved a bird's head in its stead. It reminds me of a screaming mouth along with a glimpse of the E.C. original iconography of the Talon and the Aquila, a mockery, as I see it, of their former masters.

Γαμάτος! Ιδέα: βάλτον να κρατάει το χέρι που κρατάει το όπλο και να σημαδεύει :P Πω, έχω να πιάσω πινέλο από το Πάσχα :(

Κάτι τέτοιο προσπαθώ να κάνω ρε γαμώτο. Σκευτόμουν βασικά, να του αφήσω το χέρι κάτω και να του προσθέσω ένα μαχαίρι (κλασσική παλιά φιγούρα των Πλέιγκ Μαρίνς με το μονο-μολέκιουλαρ νάιφ, και, ούτως η άλλως, έχουμε και το παλιό feat. "Τρου Γκρίτ"). Θα προσπαθήσω και αυτό που λές, μπας και βγεί κάτι καλύτερο, αλλά έχω ήδη έτοιμο και ένα χέρι με νάιφ πάνω.

Γάμησε η τιμή, αλλά ξεβάφει η ρητίνη; Πρόσεχε γιατί το στάνταρ κολπάκι με το υγρό φρένων ή ξερωγω τι είναι για μεταλλικές!

Λέγεται ότι πιάνει το break fluid και στην ριτήνη χωρίς να την λειώνει. Βέβαια, θα δοκιμάσω πρώτα στα c.c. dread weapons (που έχουν σπάσει απο την βάση τους, και τα βλέπω πολύ λεπτοκαμωμένα για να αντέξουν την κακομεταχείριση ενός dread) και αν λειωσουν θα πρέπει να δοκιμάσω αυτό που προτείνουν όλοι στο εξωτερικό: Tamiya X-20 Paint Thinner. :-o

Δε νομίζω οτι είναι τόσο εύθραυστα (το δικό μου βέβαια ακόμα να το κολλήσω) αλλά από την άλλη είμαι σιγουρος οτι κάτι γαμάτο θα έχεις σκεφτεί με green stuff.... Post pics εννοείται όταν.

Μουχαχα, είμαι ελλάδα, και αγοράζω πλαστικό κρακ. Ήδη αγοράστηκαν 2x terminator squads, 1x assault terminator squad, 1x inquisitor chaplain και 1x librarian και τώρα το κόβω να κατέβω πάλι στο μονόκερω να χτυπήσω ένα dreadnought και κάτι για να κάνω convert σε Belial...

Τι στρατό ετοιμάζεις? Εγώ θα ψάξω να βρώ ένα Λανδ Ρέϊδερ Κρουσέιδερ, αλλά δεν ξέρω πού. Το θέλω για ένα Γκρέυ Νάιτς άρμυ.
