Πρέπει να ανεβάσει ρυθμό άμεσα. Πάντως σαν επεισόδιο δεν θα το έλεγα κακό. Το sideways ήταν από τα ωραιότερα που έχουμε δει, κυρίως επειδή βασιζόταν σε ενδιαφέρον χαρακτήρα και είχε και 2-3 ωραίες σκηνές (αποκάλυψη στην αρχή ότι είναι μπάτσος, συνάντηση με Sharlotte, το "who's sawyer?" του Μάιλς).
Από 'κει και πέρα στα του νησιού, αυτό που με παραξένεψε είναι η αναφορά του fake Locke πως είχε "τρελή" μητέρα. Θα μπορούσε να είναι ψέμα ναι, αλλά πρώτον δεν κολλάει κάτι τέτοιο και δεύτερον ως τώρα δεν έχει πει κάτι που να είναι καθαρά ψέμα. Επομένως το συνδυάζω με θεωρία που είχε ποστάρει ο Unholy για Jacob, fLocke (ότι είναι ο Aaron και ο γιος του Jack στο flash sideways). Το να είναι ο Aaron μου φαίνεται δύσκολο, αν η θεωρία ισχύει το ρόλο αυτό θα τον έχει ο Jacob. Για το άλλο παιδί όμως δεν ξέρουμε την μητέρα του και μια που θα κόλλαγε -και ταιριάζει στην περιγραφή για τρελή λόγω ψυχιατρείων κλπ- είναι η Libby.
Eπίσης με μπέρδεψε ότι ο Widmore αρνήθηκε πως έστειλε το πλοίο, δεν είχε αποδειχθεί αυτό ή θυμάμαι λάθος; Και αν όντως είχε αποδειχθεί γιατί να το αρνηθεί και μάλιστα να πιστέψει το σχέδιο του Sawyer; Κάτι δεν κολλάει εδώ πέρα. Πάντως δεν νομίζω να υπάρχει καμιά αμφιβολία ότι ο Desmond είναι στο κλειδωμένο δωμάτιο.

I think they are "influencing" what is happening on the island only inasmuch as they show us what these people truly are, in the truest existential sense -- their actual natures are at play in the alt-futures, and those "teetering-between-good-and-evil" natures, I guess you could say, are what Jacob "saw," somehow, and they are what led him to determine that they are "candidates." That moment where Smokey picked up the white rock off the scale and tossed it out the door is more fuel for this theory -- they pick people who are perfectly balanced between "bad" and "good" and bring them to the island as a sort of laboratory to determine which of those forces wins out in the end. So the events that are occurring in the island-present -- the Lost version of "The Stand," where sides are being drawn -- are the "result" (though not really, obviously, in the causal sense) of the alt-futures, wherein we are seeing that left to their own devices, each of these people tilts slightly to one side of the good/evil equation.
