According to the U.K.'s Terrorizer magazine, Carl-Michael "Aggressor" Eide (AURA NOIR, INFERNΦ, VIRUS, VED BUENS ENDE, ex-CADAVER, ex-DHG) fell from (or jumped off, depending on whose story you believe) a five-story building in Oslo, Norway on Saturday (March 26). He is currently undergoing extensive surgery and the outcome is still not determined. Friends, family and fans all over the world are in shock and can only hope that he'll pull through and make as complete a recovery as possible. Carl Michael is a highly respected musician in the scene, a unique talent and a great personality who has touched and enriched a lot of people's lives.

Πάντως από ό,τι έγραψε στο jesteroforum o Κvohst των Void.

I think that you should put away the rumours and gossip and focus on wishing him a good recovery. He is in very bad condition indeed and will have 20hrs of surgery today. He took a very bad fall and has had 17hrs of surgery already.
Carl is a good friend and an awesome human being. Everyone close to him is completely devastated by the news. Reserve your judgements about him, for their sake at least.

Please wish him well today and hope that he pulls through and makes a good recovery. My thoughts are with him.

Aggressor/Czral is still being kept unconscious after his leap from fourth floor last Saturday. He's made it through two major surgeries lasting close to 20 hours each. Doctors are still not certain whether he will be paralyzed from the waist down or not. They were threatening to amputate his legs last night, but having had a closer look today they decided not to. The plan is to try to wake him up sometime early next week (if he wants to wake up and has the energy) and then we will see how his body is working. For instance his head looks fine on the x-rays but we don't know if it's really ok until he wakes up...things like that. Patience.



As for the reason, it's still difficult to understand why it happened and I believe Aggressor doesn't understand it fully himself because of the state he was in at that time. I was on the phone with him less than 5 minutes earlier and he was clearly bad tripping on something. I confronted him with it cause first it sounded like he was sleeping, and he confirmed that he was a bit more stoned than he could handle as well as probably being hung over from the night before. Anyway I convinced him to come down and help me carry our gear to the rehearsal place (we'd played the Inferno festival in Oslo the night before) and then we hung up. He told the last person left at the after party goodbye, and then he went out and over to the outside elevator. There, something must have gone really wrong with his mind....

Carl Michael's condition is constantly improving. He's waking up these days but it's a long and delicate process that most probably is beyond painful for him both physically and mentally. Like ourselves he doesn't have any idea of what really happened. Doctors are of course very modest when asked about his future. Then again they're honest, so personally I consider it good news when they haven't said anything for a long time. I think they would have told us by now if they knew of anything specific that is impossible to train back to decent shape

His family appreciates all of the support.
