Just opened early last night (in case you are wondering of the INCREDIBLE lack of activity), MeloDeath (http://www.melodeath.com) was made to give people of the common interest of melodic death metal a place to chat, as well as give all musicians everywhere a place to post demos of their own band, their own solo's, their own compositions (mp3/midi), lyrics, anything worth being critiqued. It's secondary focus is to start a database of underground (mostly local, KY USA for me) bands a place to publish their demos, and if I can play my cards right, get interviews with both the local bands and the bigger bands that go through my town through the radio station I'm associating with.
Well, as I said, there isn't much to read except for the forum layout to see if you might like the place. Be sure and check it out :)
