Stardock Systems' Starcraft add-on, Retribution has found its way to retail outlets throughout North America - having been released on the 1st of January. The Add-on pack features 3 new campaigns featuring approximately 30 new maps with multiple objectives to spice things up, 120 multiplayer maps, new heroes with special attributes and weapons, and new digital sounds and voices. Stardock claims that even the most adept Starcraft player will be challenged by Retribution. The game is available at most major retailers for around $19.99. The add-on is being published by WizardWorks.

The storyline takes place on the Terran world of Ariadas, where the three lovable factions duke it out to gain control of a powerful artifact called the Argus Stone. the stone is a powerful weapon that if harnessed properly, could be the key to the survival of a race. The storyline - according to a source at Stardock Systems - is loosely based on the original Starcraft storyline notes written by Blizzard. The game has been tested by Blizzard playtesters, and sports compatibility with the latest version of Starcraft.
