General constraint νομίζω είναι ο περιορισμός των τιμών που μπορεί να πάρει ένα γνώρισμα.

Σε Oracle παραδείγματος χάριν:



CREATE TABLE Aytokinito (

Kivika INT,

CONSTRAINT aytokinito_kivika_thetikos
CHECK (Kivika > 0)
);

Domain constraint νομίζω πως είναι ορισμός τύπου. Π.χ.



CREATE DOMAIN Ar_Taytotitas AS CHAR(7);
