Τότε που γράφτηκε το ομώνυμο βιβλίο του Coupland (1991), το οποίο έδωσε και τον ορισμό, η Generation X ήταν 20somethings. Άρα τώρα έχουν καβατζώσει τα 35 και προχωράνε ακάθεκτοι.

Έχουν σταθερές δουλειές, οικογένειες, δάνειο από την τράπεζα, αυθαίρετο στα σκαριά και ψηφίζουν ΠΑΣΟΚ.
