2010 so far has already been rich in new acts for the label, with Matta, Hecq and very soon Karsten Pflum signing their first records on Ad Noiseam (even their solo début in the case of the first), but there are more to come. Ad Noiseam is welcoming on board Subheim, which some of you might have heard (of) already through his "Approach" album, for a second album to come out in the fall of 2010.

"No Land Called Home" is the name of Subheim's sophomore full length effort. The project led by currently Athens-based Kostas K. has made some waves (in both senses of the word) with a first album published by Tympanik Audio in 2008. The new one ups the ante of this sharply produced atmospheric material, is a work to be reckoned with, and should open many doors to this very promising young act and his dystopian ambiences.

Below is a short video medley of material from the upcoming album.

As announced a couple of months ago, Ad Noiseam (http://www.adnoiseam.net) will release in the Fall the second album by the Greek project Subheim. There was already a video teaser (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0EDK7nr-BHk) for this album, but the moment has come to actually reveal one of the tracks from this "No Land Called Home".

It's therefore time for a new "Friday Freebie", with this first track off the duo's second album. It's called "Streets", and reflects well the mood and instrumentation of "No Land Called Home". Multi-layered but crisp, beautiful but subtle, and generally speaking very fitting on Ad Noiseam. You can listen to (or download) this track here:

Subheim's "No Land Called Home" will be released on CD, 12" vinyl LP and digital in the Fall of 2010, bearing the catalog number adn133. More details? How about checking the cover artwork above or Subheim's website at www.subheim.com ?
