Nine Eleven εννοείς το review στο blog ε? Θα ξαναέρθουν Ελλάδα στις αρχές Νοέμβρη, να έχεις το νου σου!

Το The Edge ήταν ένα 16σελιδο αποκλειστικά straight edge fanzine. Το μηδενικό του τεύχος κυκλοφόρησε σε 200 κόπιες (αν θυμάμαι καλά)
σε κάποια φάση το 2007. Περιείχε συνεντεύξεις από xFor No Reasonx, Goldust, xNew Windsx, Stop Talking και When Seasons Change,
καθώς και ένα άρθρο από Lipkick (all female sxe group από Γερμανία, δυστυχώς διαλύθηκαν).
Το fanzine συνόδευε το 4way split 'Something To Say' (με κομμάτια από The Target, Fumbles In Life, Lipkick και xUprightsx), διαθέσιμο
τόσο σε CDR όσο και σε tape format (με pro-printed covers και ένθετα και τα 2).

This release is a masterpiece and a historical monument for the hardcore / punk scene…
When Refused wanted to relax in the rehearsal room and for a moment take themselves a little less seriously, they switched instruments with each other and started to play old school hardcore. They called themselves Final Exit, used pseudonyms and immediately became the notorious and popular hardcore band in Sweden. Sometimes they played naked and sometimes they even invited the kids to take the moshpit out to the street. One can say that if the members controlled their madness and rage in their regular bands they got out of control totally in Final Exit.
This release includes gatefold packaging, 2 LPS (both of white vinyl) featuring all the songs that Final Exit have ever released, that means 43 old school hardcore songs, a DVD and a poster.

This cute piece of vinyl has just been released, but I dunno if there will be any copies available anytime soon…

Maths / Throats split CD

Maths write epic, furious Orchid-esque walls of melody and noise with a tunefulness many of their contemporaries lack. Backed up by an unpredictable and incendiary live show they have quickly garnered support slots and tours with bands such as This Town Needs Guns, Fuck Buttons, Cutting Pink With Knives and This Aint Vegas. After two demos recorded by the band themselves (which have now completely sold out) Maths present five brand new songs, faster, louder, more complex and honest than ever before.
Throats began life in April 2007 with the aim to play as fast and as heavily as they could. With influences ranging from Some Girls to Black Sabbath and My Bloody Valentine to Burning Witch, Throats are bred to play punk fucking rock laced with metal influences whilst still unfazed by genre confines. After an early 3 track demo and a bunch of shows the band appeared on the ‘Happy Holy Roar’ Tape compilation, a recording that that subsequently led to the band being signed by Holy Roar Records.
