Metalzone: Recenty I saw some bad news concerning Green Carnation. Could you please explain to our readers what exactly happened and what will happen in the future?
Tchort: I split the band up and will take my time to focus on song writing for a huge project. Things started to go in a direction that I didn’t feel comfortable with and I am not talking about musical direction alone. We have an expression that I don’t know if it’s possible to translate directly, but it goes something like "Too many chefs in the kitchen, too much mess". I am sure you understand where I am going with this and I made the decision before things started to get ugly. We were very different people both when it comes to personalities and musical preferences and it was always a struggle to get everyone to focus on the same goal. When we managed we could create magic and magical moments with the band but when we didn’t manage it was just half hearted and soulless. Green Carnation will return and I believe it will be great when it does.
