It's a brilliant idea-the fusion of old rave with nu-hardcore- but with St Albans' Enter Shikari flounder over a whole album?Take To The Skies does lack the violent majesty of their live shows which made Enter Shikari a target for myriad major labels before they decided to go it alone.Those labels might have told the band to polish up the choruses and move the scary bits from the start of the album to the end.Sure,they'd have sold a few more,but also compromised a vision that makes them one of the most inventive UK bands in years.
