TROUBLE To Record New Album In October - July 25, 2003

Reunited doom legends TROUBLE, who recently replaced longtime bassist Ron Holzner with Chuck Robinson (formerly of THIS TORTURED SOUL), are set to enter the studio in October with producer Vincent Wojno (MACHINE HEAD, KREATOR, KONKHRA) to record their long-awaited new album, titled "Seven".

According to frontman Eric Wagner, 15 songs have been written so far for the album, including "After The Rain", "Seven", "A Bad Situation", "Goin' Home", "Doombox" and "A New Generation". "It's still heavy, it's still TROUBLE, maybe a little more modern," says Eric. "It's still us. It's our seventh album and it was going to be seven years since our last album, but now it's going to be a little more."

Before commencing work on the upcoming full-length album, TROUBLE will record a seven-track acoustic compilation of classic TROUBLE material. The as-yet-untitled EP, which will also include a brand-new song written by Wagner and Robinson, will only be available on the band's web site, www.newtrouble.com (http://www.newtrouble.com).

Hello Again

The good news.
Trouble has finally begun recording the new full length CD and it’s damn heavy. This thing sounds like they mean business. The guitars are bigger and badder than ever, the drum’s are huge, And the bass is awesome.
Oly recorded his drums in Cleveland in Feb, Bruce & Rick have recorded all of the rhythm tracks
In Chicago in late Feb. Chuck also recorded his bass in Chicago in late Feb. The band took a short break while Vinny Wojno completed the edits and sorts through all of the tracks, About 5-6 takes per song. They go in to track lead’s April 1st followed by vocal’s. From what I’ve heard so far, Get ready for this one, It just might be the best Trouble ever.
The bad news
The unplugged Cd will be put on hold until the release of the full length Cd.
Never the less , It will eventually be out there

Trouble is back in the studio to continue the recording of the new CD.
Vinny flew back in mid June to continue production.
Bruce and Rick are recording leads at this time.
Eric is singing a bit here and there getting melodies and harmonies together.
Stage 2 should be finished in a couple of weeks, then they will go in to mix.
Still possible to release in 2005. We will See.

Here’s the latest.
The music is finished for the new C.D. Simple Mind Condition. (It’s awesome)
Eric will be finished by the end of Nov 2005 and the release date has been set for March 2006. Samples & promos will be shipped earlier.
Trouble is under contract with two labels, One for USA, and one for Europe. This is the date the labels finally can agree on.
On the other hand, They seem to agree to put out the “Trouble live in Stockholm” DVD in late Jan 2006.Tours and festivals are already in the works for the spring & summer of 2006. Also, Dates are being discussed for the re-release of the first two CDs (Psalm, Skull) for sometime in 2006. To sum it up, There will be plenty of Trouble in the New Year. More than ever.

Chicago doom metal legends TROUBLE have issued the following update:

"After many unpredictable setbacks, we now have release dates for most of the TROUBLE catalog. 'Psalm 9' and 'The Skull' will be released worldwide on October 24, 2006, with added footage from those eras. The new CD, 'Simple Mind Condition', and 'Plastic Green Head' will be released on February 20, 2007, with bonus footage for 'Plastic'.

"TROUBLE will tour to support the releases starting in March of 2007. A USA tour is in the works, to be followed by two European tours slated for mid-summer and fall. A new DVD featuring many new songs will be filmed during the European tours, so be sure to come out in full force to support the band.

"The TROUBLE unplugged CD, featuring 40% new material and some of the old favorites, will be completed the summer of 2007.

"So after many obstacles concerning the business end of TROUBLE, everything is finally in order (thanks to Escapi Music) once again, and you can expect that TROUBLE will continue to write, record, and tour for many, many more years."

TROUBLE To Release Live Album - Oct. 12, 2007

Legendary Chicago doomsters TROUBLE will release a live album of their 2005 performance in Stockholm, Sweden early next year via Escapi Music. The CD will reportedly be filled with lots of bonus material. More information will be made available soon.

TROUBLE will release its long-awaited "Unplugged" CD sometime in November 2007. Mastering has begun and should be completed shortly.

"Unplugged" will be available only through the NewTrouble.com web site.

"Under great consideration, I have decided to part ways with Trouble. My reasons are justified. I felt like I was never taken seriously as a musician with the guys from Trouble, but I did the best I could in that 28 year effort with the band. That is all I would like to say for now. However, this is not a retirement from the music industry for I have my band, Retro Grave, with the full length coming out in a few months with fine players (the EP was a solo effort). I thank the Trouble fans for all their support and dedication and I'm sorry if I Iet you down. Moreover, I will say that Bruce and Rick are the drive and sound for Trouble and every one else are replaceable, so I'm sure they will carry on well. It's been an honor to have played with Bruce, Rick and Eric. I would also like to mention to Kerrang Magazine that I'm not leaving to become a preacher as you once noted many years ago and never corrected".

Hello Troubleheads,

Trouble is now in the process of writing songs for a new CD with the plan of a summer 2009 release.

Tours will follow both in Europe and the States.
