UNJUST Sign To KOOLARROW RECORDS - Dec. 10, 2003
Criminally underrated San Francisco Bay Area band UNJUST have just signed to Koolarrow Records, the label headed up by former FAITH NO MORE bassist Billy Gould. The group's third CD, "Glow", is scheduled for release in March 2004, and will coincide with a U.S. tour. Details on European release dates will follow soon.
Recorded at Sharkbite Studios in Oakland, California with longtime producer Mark Keaton (MACHINE HEAD, ONE MAN ARMY, MR. T EXPERIENCE, KGB), "Glow" has received rave reviews since it was issued independently in early 2003 and is widely considered to be one of the most stunning collections of emotionally-charged melodic hard rock released in the last few years.
Says Gould, "I was already a fan, but when I heard the new material, I was impressed on how far they've come. It's both great and rare to see a band that's so comfortable with who they are, and insist on putting the music first."
Upcoming UNJUST tour dates:
Dec. 13 – San Francisco, CA @ The Pound (w/ DEATH MACHINE, THOUGHT CRIME, DISPLACE)
Jan. 31 - Alameda, CA @ The Roosters Roadhouse (w/ THOUGHT CRIME, KEHOE NATION, RU36)
More information and updates will be available at www.koolarrow.com (http://www.koolarrow.com) soon.

First American Signing to Copro
We are extremely pleased, and proud as punch to announce the first American signing to the Label. We first heard UNJUST on their second album, when Phil Alexander played the band on Radio One as part of his Editor On The Edge section of the Rock Show, and we were blown away. After becoming involved with the band on a possible tour, we become avid fans of the bands two albums for Mascot Records.
Label boss Jose Griffin said -"The band then sent us some demos and we were hooked, we couldn't wait to hear the rest, these songs were amazing. Imagine Faith No More theatrics, the ambient backdrop of Radiohead, amidst the chaos and drama of Muse. The band's Management were in deep negotiations with a number of Majors and we were nervous, but we waited, and all good things come to those who wait. Unbelievably, none of those idiots at the Majors bit and this became our good fortune" . Copro have signed the band for a three album deal for all Territories except the USA, where they have signed to long time fan and former Faith No More man Billy Gould's Koolarrow Label.
The bands third album, titled "Glow" and Produced by Mark Keaton (Machine Head)is a more progressive, well rounded and optmistic offering than the bands previous two releases.Intense thundering rock tracks and subdued introspective ballads. The band seamlessly transition styles with sonic elegance and artful ease. And early indications and feedback has been overwhelming. In fact one Major European publication, managed to slip the album onto their Top Ten Albums of the Year, having had the promo played around the Office for sometime last year. Incredible!
The band, already veterans of the Dynamo Festival, hope to visit the UK and Europe for the festival season this summer.
The album "Glow" is released on the 22nd March 2004.
