Οι γονείς μου μορφωμένοι άνθρωποι αλλά φτωχοί, πίστεψαν ότι ο σπυρέτος και η αννούλα πρέπει να βρουν μια παιδεία απο νωρίς. Μας τράβαγαν λοιπόν από βρέφη στα ωδεία για τα έτσι γαλλικά και το πιάνο. Η αδρεφή έκανε τα δικά της, εγώ παράτησα σε ένα χρόνο την κιθάρα, στα τέσσερα το πιάνο. Και τα γαλλικά. Έμεινε ένας άσβεστος -ακόμα- πόθος να μάθω τα τύμπανα και ένα καλτ γιαμάχα συνθεσάιζερ στο σπίτι. Το κλασικό, με τους 100 ήχους και τα πολλά demonstration. Ένα πράμα που μεινε από αυτή την ιστορία ήταν οτι οι Στερεο Νόβα είχαν το ίδιο γιαμάχα στο ντεμπούτο τους. Ένα άλλο, ότι το demo για BOSSA NOVA σ'αυτό το ρημαδογιαμάχα, το παίζει εδώ ο φοιβάκος. Δεν ξέρω τι λέει αυτό το κομμάτι. Δεν ξέρω γιατί ένας τύπος σα το Ρένο είναι Νέα_Δημοκρατία_του_Σαμαρά. Δεν ξέρω γιατί αυτός ο φοιβάκος είναι σαν αγγούρι και ψηφίζει ΔΡΑΣΗ. Ή γιατί δε μπορεί να γράψει μουσική και μπορεί να γράφει αυτούς τους στίχους. Δεν ξέρω και γιατί δεν έμαθα να ποτέ να τα παίζω τα τύμπανα. Ξέρω, εμείς δε ζούμε σε άλλη εποχή. Η μοίρα μας έταξε ακριβώς σε αυτή. Ο ουρανός δε κρύβει απο πάνω θεούς.

The police kept coming by all night, and Tony Weinbender who had been put in charge of organizing everything, kept them at bay for a while. Then they came during Frodus and said, “If we get another complaint and have to come back here, we’re taking you to jail.” Weinbender said he would shut the show down, but did not. A few songs into Refused’s set, police entered the house and plowed through the throng of people to get to the basement. The band began playing what would be their final song, “Rather Be Dead”, as the police forced their way through the crowd. The song reached the crescendo where Dennis would have screamed, “rather be alive”. The plug was pulled (literally), and the band stopped playing. The audience kept screaming the refrain to the song, “rather be alive”. The police were at a loss for what to do. Weinbender was taken to jail. He still maintains to this day that it was worth it.

Years later, members of the band would admit that they felt a sense of relief that the cops had shut the show down.

Από Αυστραλία οι τύποι με έναρξη καριέρας το 1996, και τερματισμό το 2001 .... Επιστροφή το 2012 και συνεχίζουν.
"νομίζω" έχουν βγάλει 3 LP και ένα Ep .

Δεν μπορώ να μετρήσω αλήθεια, πόσες φορές έχω ακούσει ή τραγουδήσει αυτό το ασύλληπτο αριστούργημα. Ενώ μου περισσεύει το θράσσος πάνω στη σκηνή, είναι ίσως το μόνο που κάθε φορά μου δημιουργεί ένα σύμπλεγμα, ότι δεν είμαι αντάξιός του. Ότι δεν πρέπει κανένας άλλος πλην του Δημιουργού του να ανοίγει το στόμα του για να αποπειραθεί...

Νομίζω λοιπόν, ότι αυτή η συγκεκριμένη εκτέλεση από τον ίδιο, είναι τρανταχτή απόδειξη αυτού του συμπλέγματος. Κανένας άλλος, κανένας απολύτως, δεν μπορεί να ματώσει την ψυχή σου όπως ο ίδιος ο Θάνος Μικρούτσικος, σε αυτήν εδώ.
